Neither of these packages, despite best efforts, were or are easy to set up on the average budget DJ controller when you really aren’t sure what you’re doing. (By the way, there is currently no upgrade path to ITCH, Scratch or anything else, but as we discussed yesterday in our Reloop Terminal Mix 4 review, surely it can’t be far off.) Maybe realising it was missing a trick, Serato finally launched its own cut-down DJ software package, called Serato DJ Intro. #SERATO DJ INTRO HARDWARE DISCONNECTED UPGRADE# #SERATO DJ INTRO HARDWARE DISCONNECTED FULL#.#SERATO DJ INTRO HARDWARE DISCONNECTED UPGRADE#.#SERATO DJ INTRO HARDWARE DISCONNECTED DRIVERS#.But it seems pretty clear to me it's a problem with this specific piece of software, not the hardware, since their own lower platform software will work. They told me to reach out to Windows for why the hardware isn't available. for Sound my only options were Digital Audio (S/PDIF) or Line (Pioneer DDJ-SB).

I ended up replying back that I followed all the steps from him that I could, but I wasn't able to make the specific changes to Playback and Recording and Communications, as those options either weren't there, or were grayed out. Open your Serato software and try to connect your hardware.

(this is not always necessary, as with some Windows versions there is no option to set a device in this tab)
